ISTAP BUS TRIPS -- 2012

For the 2012 Football Season, ISTAP will sponsor Bus trips to games listed below.     

1. ASU & Bethune Cookman, Sunday, September 2, 2012 (Game Time—TBD) We will leave Montgomery Saturday morning, travel to Orlando, FL and check into the Crown Plaza Hotel.  We will go to the game on Sunday, spend Sunday night in the Hotel and return to Montgomery on Monday.
2. ASU & Grambling, September 15, 2012 (Game Time—4 PM).  We will leave Montgomery Saturday morning, go directly to the game in Grambling, LA and return to Vicksburg, MS and spend the night in the Rainbow Casino Hotel.  We will return to Montgomery on Sunday.
3. ASU & Alcorn, September 29, 2012 (Game Time—2 PM).  We will leave Montgomery Saturday morning and go directly to the game in Lorman, MS.  After the game we will return to Vicksburg, MS and spend the night in the Rainbow Casino Hotel. We will return to Montgomery on Sunday.
4. ASU & AAMU, October 27, 2012 (Game Time—TMD).  We will leave Montgomery about 7:30 AM Saturday morning (10/27/12).  We’ll tailgate before the game and return to Montgomery after the game. (This is the only game where travelers will be required to get their own tickets to the football game).
5. ASU & Prairie View, November 3, 2012 (Game Time—1 PM).  We will leave Montgomery Friday morning, November 2, 2012, travel to Orange Texas, and spend the night in the Holiday Inn Express.  Orange Texas is located close to Vinton, LA where the Delta Downs Casino and Race Track is located.  Transportation will be available to transport interested travelers between the hotel and casino on a designated schedule.  We will leave Orange Saturday morning and attend the game in Prairie View, Texas and return to the hotel in Orange after the game.  We will leave Orange for Montgomery Sunday morning (November 4^th).  The hotel provides complimentary hot breakfast.
6. ASU & Southern November 10, 2012 (Game time—3:00 PM).  We will leave Montgomery Saturday morning, November 10^th. We will go directly to the game.  After the game we spend the night in the Microtel Inn in Baton Rouge and return to Montgomery on Sunday.

Space on the buses will be reserved for persons who are the first to make non-refundable* deposits of $50.00 (or pay the total cost for the Birmingham trip)—some buses fill-up fast so make reservations and begin paying NOW.  We know you can understand that it is necessary for you to meet the schedule of paying for the trip as early as possible to enable us to meet commitments to the bus company and with the hotels.

Following are the costs for the trips.  First priority for space will go to ISTAP members who reply promptly to this notice. NON-ISTAP members must, in addition, pay a $10.00 service charge per person for each trip they take.  (Trip costs include bus fare, game ticket for the five out of state games, hotel room for overnight trips, and light refreshments on the bus.  For the Birmingham game we will provide a meal at the tailgate).   (Each person must individually obtain their game tickets for the Alabama A&M game)
