About Us:
ISTAP is
National in scope---its members are located all
across the country. ISTAP conducts an annual meeting
of the general membership on the Wednesday before
Thanksgiving. At this meeting, the general
membership gathers to receive annual reports, attend
to business of interest, update the Constitution
when needed, and on odd numbered years, elect
officers to two year terms. Between annual meetings of the general membership, the on-going business and operation of ISTAP is handled by the Executive Committee. All scheduled meetings of the Executive Committee are open to all members---attendance and full participation in these scheduled meetings is encouraged.
Currently, scheduled meetings of the Executive Committee are held in the Dunn-Oliver Acadome, Hornets Lounge on the Alabama State University campus, at 6:30 PM the first Wednesday of each month. Meetings for 2012, where all members are urged to attend, are scheduled as follows:
January 11, 2012 July 11, 2012 February 1, 2012 August 1, 2012 March 7, 2012 September 5, 2012 April 4, 2012 October 3, 2012 May 2, 2012 November 7, 2012 June 6, 2012 December 5, 2012
The 2012 Annual Meeting will be held at 3:00PM November 21, 2012 in the John Buskey Building or another building, if necessary, that will be announced.
